The specific technique of pouring liquid over the forehead and over the hairy part of the head from a special copper vessel is one of the basic techniques used in Panchakarma (five Ayurvedic treatments used to clean oranism from toxic substances).
The name is derived from the Sanskrit words: Shiro (head) and Dhara (stream). The liquids used in Shirodhara can be different depending on the condition of the organism, and in our Center we use coconut, gold or silver oil as a base.
